History
Helicopter service company, Joint Stock Company (HSC, JSC) was founded on September 22, 2006 and is 100% subsidiary of UIC Oboronprom, JSC. Taking into consideration that the main medium-term goal of Russian Helicopters, Helicopter Holding is transition from selling of helicopters as goods to providing support to purchasers during the whole helicopter life cycle «manufacture – service – repair - utilization», Helicopter service company, JSC is entrusted with tasks of arranging a modern multi-level system of Russian helicopters’ support including setting up of service centers outside of Russia.
Helicopter service company, JSC arranges one-point supply of Russian helicopter manufacturing enterprises with purchased items and materials, provides the operators of Russian helicopters with aviation technical materials. From the moment of its establishment the Company has developed an up-to-date support program of manufacturers of Russian helicopters. An integrated system of logistics support of helicopters in Russia and in various regions worldwide is being developed.
Currently the Company cooperates with customers from Algeria, Brazil, Venezuela, Vietnam, Greece, Egypt, Spain, India, Canada, China, Lithuania, UAE, Peru, Portugal, Slovakia, USA, Ukraine, Croatia, Chile, Ecuador, RSA, South Korea and Japan.
Helicopter service company, JSC is also authorized to provide deliveries of all the component parts to the plants being part of Russian Helicopters, Helicopter Holding under their requests, as well as to provide one-stop distribution of requests for repair and support of helicopter goods.
Mission
Our mission is to establish a modern system of integrated logistics support for Russian helicopter manufacturers which would allow to decrease the cost of helicopter life cycle.
We seek to provide the operators of Russian helicopters with conditions required for maintaining the airworthiness of their helicopter fleet by providing the maintenance services, timely supply of spare parts and component parts, up-to-date measuring and ground test equipment, provision of access to electronic catalogues of spare parts, tools and equipment, provision of common information space “designer – manufacturer - operator – manufacturer – designer”.
Organizational Structure
Facilities of Helicopter service company, JSC include:
- Ural Works of Civil Aviation, Joint Stock Company (UZGA, JSC). Being the successor of civil aviation Plant No. 404 UZGA, JSC has been in the market for more than 65 years. The main areas of activities embrace repair of ТВ2-117А/АГ, ТВ3-117 aircraft engines (all modifications) and ВР-8А, ВР-14, ВР-24 main gearboxes. UZGA, JSC is performing repair in its own production and technical premises. The full scope of overhaul works is provided. It is guaranteed that all valid Manufacturer’s Repair and Modification Bulletins for assigning the service time would be fulfilled during repair.
- Novosibirsk Aircraft Repair Plant, Joint Stock Company (NARP, JSC). NARP, JSC specializes in overhaul and maintenance of Mi-8 (all modifications), Mi-17, Mi-24, Mi-26 as well as their systems and units. NARP, JSC is the only civil plant in Russia dedicated to repair of MIL helicopters. The plant provides warranty service in TBO period, provides extra services, provision with spare parts and units, etc. In the recent years JSC “NARP” has been deeply involved in the program of upgrading of helicopters and their retrofit to various modifications of special purpose — patrol, search and rescue, fire-fighting, ambulance, de luxe models.
- Kamov-Service, Joint Stock Company. The company is engaged in full operation support, repair and upgrade of “Ka” helicopters.
