Brief course description

Program of conversion course (retraining) on Mi-8AMT, Mi-171 helicopters for onboard engineers. Designed for onboard engineers who have experience in operating Mi-8MTV helicopters. Training is organized in the aviation training center of Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, a manufacturer of Mi-8AMT, Mi-171 helicopters. Flight training is available at the customer's location as well.

Duration of training

12 days (65 academic hours)

Language

Russian (translation into other languages is possible, negotiated at request)

Practical training

Simulator training - 6 hours
Flight training - 3 hours

Flight engineer is trained with other crew members. If a crew which is being trained lacks one or more members, they are replaced by instructors.

Theoretical training

Theoretical training - 48 academic hours
Ground training - 8 academic hours

Certification process

4 exams and 4 tests; Flight exam (test flights)

Outcome document

In the end of the course student recieves certifying document of conversion (retraining)
